The 2017 IEEE 18th International Conference on High Performance Switching and Routing (HPSR-2017) will be held at the Convention Center of the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), at the city of Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil from June 18 to 21, 2017. The conference is sponsored by the IEEE Communications Society and the SBrT – Brazilian Telecommunications Society.

IEEE HPSR 2017 will address emerging challenges of data networks, which are under pressure to support new services such as cloud computing, Internet of Things and Content Delivery Networks, as well as futuristic concepts such as the tactile Internet. New networking technologies are needed to efficiently and effectively cope with the resulting traffic demands. HPSR is committed to gather researchers to share their understanding of the issues and their progress in the search for solutions. The State University of Campinas (in Portuguese: Universidade Estadual de Campinas – UNICAMP), is a public university in Campinas and one of the best universities in Brazil and in Latin America. Unicamp was created in October 5, 1966 and pursues the largest scientific park of the city and performs more than 400 scientific and technological events per year.  Unicamp is currently responsible for generating 15% of the national scientific production and is leader among the Brazilian universities regarding to the annual number of patents and papers per capita indexed at ISI/WoS. Unicamp has more than 1800 lecturers, 19000 undergraduate students and 16000 graduate students.
